Anugraha Institute of Social Sciences is one of the first institutions under Madurai Kamaraj University offer training in Social Work at the Post graduate and undergraduate level in Dindigul district. The Department of Social Work was started in the year 2010 and it is the first child of AISS. Social work is the unique course which moulds students with the knowledge, skills and attitude for professional commitment. The Master Degree of Social Work (MSW) started since 2013. MSW has three specializations (i.e) HRM, CD, and M&P. Ever Since it has become the first child of AISS. the Department has obtained university rank from the first batch. We are proud to have not only university rank holders but as the crown of the Department, we have gold medallists. ASWA was inaugurated in 2017 which aims at enhancing interaction of students within the department. Through this association the students organize, workshop, seminars and Campaigns.
